Structure and Written Expression dalam TOEFL bertujuan untuk menguji kemampuan Anda dalam mengidentifikasi bahasa Inggris tulis yang digunakan dalam situasi formal (formal written English). Banyak ekspresi-ekspresi bahasa Inggris yang bisa diterima dalam komunikasi lisan, namun tidak bisa diterima atau tidak lazim digunakan dalam komunikasi tulis, apalagi yang bersifat formal.

Soal Structure and Written Expression terdiri dari dua bagian, struktur kalimat (structure) dan ekspresi bahasa Inggris tulis (written expression). Structure and Written Expression terdiri dari 40 soal, terdiri dari 15 soal structure (nomor 1 sampai dengan 15) dan 25 soal untuk written expression (nomor 16 sampai dengan 40). Waktu untuk mengerjakan 40 soal ini adalah 25 menit.

Pada bagian Structure Anda diharuskan mencari jawaban yang benar untuk melengkapi kalimat yang dikosongkan. PERHITUNGAN SUKU BUNGA KREDIT MENGGUNAKAN FLAT RATE DAN SLIDING RATE

       Sebelum kita membahas mengenai perhitungan suku bunga kredit menggunakan flat rate dan sliding rate, kita harus mengetahui pengertian dan fungsi kredit. Berikut pembahasan lebih lanjut.

     Kredit, menurut Bank Indonesia, merupakan penyediaan uang atau tagihan yang dapat dipersamakan dengan itu  berdasarkan persetujuan atau kesepakatan pinjam‐meminjam antara bank dengan pihak lain yang mewajibkan pihak peminjam untuk melunasi utangnya setelah jangka waktu tertentu dengan pemberian bunga. Kredit memiliki tujuan(fungsi) sebagai berikut :

·                     Meningkatkan utility (daya guna) dari modal/uang.

·                     Meningkatkan utility (daya guna) suatu barang.

·                     Meningkatkan peredaran dan lalu lintas uang.

·                     Menambah gairah berusaha masyarakat.

·                     Alat Stabilitas Ekonomi.

·                     Jembatan untuk peningkatan pendapatan nasional.

·                     Sebagai alat meningkatkan hubungan ekonomi internasional.  

    Bunga kredit, atau bunga pinjaman, merupakan harga yang harus dibayar oleh nasabah kepada perrusahaan pembiayaan atau bank atas fasilitas yang doterima oleh nasabah dalam bentuk pinjaman atau kredit. Bunga yang dinyatakan dalam bentuk persentase.

         

         Berikut merupakan metode perhitungan bunga kredit :

·                     Flat Rate

Pembebanan bunga setiao bulan tetap dari jumlah pinjamannya.

·                     Sliding Rate

Pembebanan bunga setiap bulan akan disesuaikan dengan sisa pinjamannya.

     Pada tanggal 25 Maret 2006 PT. Andika Karya Tuan Andi mendapat persetujuan pinjaman investasi dari Bank ABC senilai Rp. 60.000.000,- untuk jangka waktu 1 tahun. Bunga yang dibebankan sebesar 24% pa. Hitunglah cicilan setiap bulannya jika di hitung dengan metode Flat Rate dan Sliding Rate
